ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Cute, clever, mischievous, intelligent, dangerous!

If you happen to come across the cute little Mogwai, please, make sure you don’t get it wet! Otherwise, you risk dealing with energetic and sinister creatures with scaly reptile-like skin and bad intentions called Gremlins!

The adored antagonists of the Gremlins franchise finally land on Gambody marketplace and thankfully, no Mogwai got wet for that! Our contributing 3D artist sculpted not one but two variants of the evil Gremlins leader Stripe, depicting the mischief-maker in his favourite 1984 movie scenes. Both grinning Stripes sport his trademark tuft of fur atop the head, large bat-like ears and equally sharp claws and teeth. The skateboarding variant of the fun-loving Gremlin carries an armful of sweets and junk food that is irreplaceable in the species' diet. You can 3D print the joyful Gremlin or the chainsaw-wielding Stripe that seems to come straight out of the violent movie scene!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Evil Gremlins 3D printing designs are static assembly models and the moderation and adaptation of the modes for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 60 hours in total. The anatomy and body proportions of the creatures were reviewed during the moderation for the dangerous Gremlins to be depicted harmoniously in the intended dynamic poses.

The models' cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to ensure an excellent quality of the 3D printed result, the Gremlins models were divided into many parts, i.e. models' heads, ears, mohawks, elements of body armour, chainsaw, candies, skateboard, etc. are provided as separate parts.

All the assembly parts of the 1.0 FFF/FDM versions of the models come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details' surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any models' file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF format.

The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from Stripe's height which is 700 mm. The 3D printing design's chosen scale is 1:2 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:4 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.

Below you can find printing recommendations for Cura, Bambu Studio, Simplify3D, Slic3r and PrusaSlicer software.

Disclaimer: The following printing settings are a recommendation, not an obligation. The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use, and especially the particular assembly part you are working with. Each part that any model comprises often needs preliminary review, and you are free to tweak the settings the way you find suitable.

Note:

You can scale up the model (downscaling for FFF/FDM 3D printers is not recommended!);

All connectors should be printed at 100% Infill.
