ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
"I want something to go right, just once."
Garrus Vakarian is a prominent character of the Mass Effect franchise, who stuck with the fans as Shepard's loyal friend and a teammate to fight for. When the whole galaxy is at stake, the C-Sec officer-turned-vigilante will go with you through any danger while casting witty remarks that make even the most stoic players chuckle.
Everyone deserves a friendly Turian of their own! The Garrus Vakarian 3D print model designed by our contributing 3D artist captures Garrus in the middle of a mission - the vigilante seems focused, collected, and threads carefully with his M-92 Mantis sniper rifle at the ready. The familiar eagle-like alien features and complex design of the armour are carefully preserved thanks to the model's high level of detail. Put off your calibrations and start 3D printing the Garrus Vakarian 3D model!
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Garrus Vakarian 3D printing design is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 37 hours. The model's anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the Turian to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.
The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, the model was cut along the contour of Garrus Vakarian's armour. For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result, the character’s head, visor, hands, armour pieces, sniper rifle etc. are provided as separate assembly parts.
All assembly parts of the 1.0 FFF/FDM version come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.
The 3D print model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The model's scale was calculated from the height of Garrus Vakarian which is 1880 mm. The 3D printing design's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
