ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
A whole era of the Jurassic Park saga is about to come to its conclusion with the 'Jurassic World Dominion', the final instalment of the beloved trilogy. But you never have to say goodbye to your favourite dino friends if you have them 3D printed and protected on the shelf of your collection!
Do you still remember Velociraptor Blue being a playful little creature? Now that many years have passed, Blue has a Baby of her own and teaches it to co-exist with humans and survive in the wild. In the fantastically detailed Blue & Baby Hunting diorama, the two of them are threading through a forest with the focus of chilling predators searching for a lovely family dinner. They invite you to join the hunt and observe just how fascinating nature, or its 3D printed form, is!
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Blue & Baby Hunting 3D printing design is a static assembly diorama and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 36 hours. The models' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for both dinosaurs to be depicted harmoniously in the intended scene.
The model's cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the models are connected, the models were cut along the contour of Blue and Baby's bodies. For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result, the dinosaurs' claws, limbs, tails, Blue's jaws and tongue, decorative plants etc. are provided as separate assembly parts.
All assembly parts of the FFF/FDM versions come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.
The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The 3D printing diorama's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
