ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
King Ghidorah is a fictional monster in the Godzilla franchise, created by Toho Studios. He first appeared in the 1964 film Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster, and has since become one of the series's most iconic and beloved kaiju (giant monsters).
In the 2019 film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, King Ghidorah is portrayed as a powerful, extraterrestrial monster that awakens from its icy slumber in Antarctica. The beast is initially discovered by a group of eco-terrorists, who plan to use it to restore balance to the Earth's ecosystem by unleashing it and other kaiju upon the world.
However, King Ghidorah proves to be uncontrollable and begins wreaking havoc across the globe. The only hope for humanity is Godzilla, who emerges from the depths of the ocean to face off against King Ghidorah in a titanic battle for the fate of the planet.
Throughout the film, King Ghidorah is portrayed as a nearly invincible opponent, with his three heads able to unleash devastating blasts of lightning that can level entire cities. He is also shown to have regenerative abilities, making him incredibly difficult to defeat.
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
King Ghidorah for 3D printing is an assembly figurine and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 60 hours in total. For you to receive the cleanest 3D printing result possible and to minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support the model was divided into many assembly parts. All assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive the "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to the King Ghidorah model.
The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown. The model’s scale was calculated from the height of King Ghidorah which is 200000 mm. The 3D printing model’s chosen scale is 1:250 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:500 for the DLP/SLA version.
