ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
The legendary Lord Vader is a character that does not need an introduction! Throughout decades, Anakin Skywalker served as one of the biggest mascots of the Galaxy Far, Far Away - his tragic corruption arc inspired countless new stories, his lines turned into quotes most people know by heart, and his looming dark image remains as iconic and celebrated today. Every respectable Star Wars and 3D printing fan cannot go without a 3D printed Lord Darth Vader model!
Meet your favourite character in the best 3D printable form that will wrap you in nostalgic feelings. The author of the Lord Darth Vader 3D print model drew inspiration from various depictions of Darth Vader across the years, including the fresh appearance in the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series. The villain is encased in the meticulously detailed suit of life-sustaining armour, and the gorgeous cape is fluttering in a swing of motion. While standing on a decorative platform with his lightsaber at ready, Darth Vader extends his hand toward you. Will you join his side?
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Lord Darth Vader 3D printing design is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 38 hours. The model's anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the Sith Lord to be depicted with utmost realism.
The model's cutting was chosen by our team to ensure the cleanest 3D printed result possible and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model are connected, it was cut along the contour of Darth Vader's attire. The character’s head, torso, hands, legs, cloak lightsaber, etc. are provided as separate assembly parts.
All assembly parts of the FFF/FDM versions come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.
The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The model's scale was calculated from the approximate height of Darth Vader which is 2030 mm. The 3D printing design's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
