ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

“You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”

In the mystical sci-fi world of The Matrix, Morpheus appears as one of the key characters and our guide to the truth through perilous obstacles and swarms of sentinels. Aboard the Nebuchadnezzar Hovercraft, he leads his team bravely and keeps his emotions in check no matter the danger. But even despite the lifelong effort in the search of The One to end the Machine War, he still offers Neo a choice…

Your journey can start here if you pick the red pill and 3D print the Morpheus 3D model! Morpheus will greet you in a small room, where he is seated in a tattered armchair and watches you closely through the tinted sunglasses. You can display the hero waiting patiently or asking you to choose between the two pills in his hands. While considering the offer, make sure to check out the amazing details on his face, dazzling alligator coat and the furniture that immerses you into the scene.

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Morpheus 3D printing design is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 37 hours. The model's anatomy, proportions, and clothing design were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the character to look harmonically in the surrounding scene.

The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to ensure the cleanest 3D printed result possible and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the models are connected, the model was cut along the contour of the hero's body. Morpheus' head, sunglasses, hands, legs, feet, armchair, table, etc. are provided as separate assembly parts.

All assembly parts of the 1.0 FFF/FDM version come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.

The 3D print model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from the approximate height of Morpheus which is 1830 mm. The 3D printing design's chosen scale are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
