ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Nier: Automata video game captivates with its spectacular open world, dynamic combat and, of course, the engaging characters. A2 is possibly the most enigmatic of YoRHa androids, so it must be the air of mystery surrounding her that makes A2 so loved by the franchise’s fans, both as a boss and a playable character!

A2 3D model by Gambody’s hardworking contributing 3D artist incorporates all features that you might look for in a 3D printing YoRHa Type A. Number Two wields a massive Virtuous Treaty sword that is adorned with intricate ornaments, perfect to try out your finest brushes. The 3D print model can pose with her long beautiful hair reaching the lower back, or A2 can sport a short hairstyle, similar to the one that followed the YoRHa 2B’s death. Last but not least, the 3D printing design can be displayed wearing an embroidered corset that usually explodes when the character enters Berserk mode. Created as part of YoRHa experiment, A2 became a rogue android that fascinates with skill and charisma. Don’t hesitate to run your own experiment by 3D printing the YoRHa Type A!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

YoRHa A2 3D printing design is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team circa 45 hours. The model's anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the android to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, the model was cut along the contour of A2’s outfit seams. For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result, the model's hair variantsheadblade, handguard, etc. are provided as separate assembly parts. The hilt of the Virtuous Treaty sword was extracted from the android’s hold.

All assembly parts in FFF/FDM versions come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF format.

The 3D print model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from A2's actual height which is 1680 mm. The 3D printing design's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version, 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS, and 1:4 for the Author versions.
