ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Batman is probably the most famous superhero from American comic books, cartoons, movies, and video game franchises. The Dark Knight has appeared in hundreds of stories throughout his time in publications of DC Comics and there is a long list of alternative versions of Batman from all media types. Batman Ninja is a 2018 Batman anime movie that takes the characters of modern Gotham City and puts them into a feudal Japan setting. This time Batman has to learn the ways of the ninja to fight against Joker's troops and defeat supervillain Gorilla Grodd, an extremely intelligent telepathic gorilla able to control the minds of others.

Inspired by the anime movie of the same name, our contributing 3D artist created this East Asian version of Batman. The hero is depicted as a representative of an elite class of Japanese warriors. The shape of the suit of the Dark Knight reminds us of the kamishimo, the typical formal dress among the samurai class. Batman Ninja is armed with two long Katana swords, his body is protected by medieval layered armor. The face of the hero is hidden under the ninja helmet decorated with Bat-Insignia. This beautifully designed 3D printing figurine is a must for all fans of the Batman franchise!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Batman Ninja for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 66 hours in total. The figurines' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the hero to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The figurine’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the figurine are connected, Batman Ninja was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Batman Ninja.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The figurine’s scale was calculated from the height of Batman Ninja. The 3D printing figurine’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
