ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Commander Shepard is the iconic protagonist of the Mass Effect series, known for their incredible bravery, leadership skills, and tactical prowess. As a graduate of the Systems Alliance N7 special forces program, Shepard possesses an unparalleled combat ability, and their experiences on the planet Eden Prime gave them a unique insight into the threat of the Reapers, a race of intelligent machines that threatened all organic life. Shepard's heroics and leadership skills earned them the title of Spectre, a prestigious position within the Citadel Council's elite task force. Throughout their journey aboard the Normandy SR-2, Shepard faces countless challenges and battles against powerful enemies, assembling a team of skilled allies to combat the Reapers and save the galaxy from destruction. The character's compelling story arc, whether played as a male or female character FemShep, has made them unforgettable figures in gaming history.

Shepard has a reputation as a rebel who can break the rules and go against the bureaucracy to save civilians. He has remarkable abilities as a commander and a soldier. Inspired by the legendary N7 soldier, our contributing artist created this impressive figurine for 3D printing. The whole posture of Shepard says of his decisiveness and confidence. The soldier's costume is decorated with the emblem that identifies his belonging to the group of graduates of the ICT program. Looking at the figurine you feel the inner power of the character and there is no doubt that under his protection the allies will always stay safe. The spectacular level of the figurine’s execution will result in an amazing 3D printing project that you will surely not want to put off!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Commander Shepard figurine for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 39 hours. The figurine’s anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the Shepard to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result, the body of the Shepard was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts of the FFF/FDM versions come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from the height of Shepard which is 1890 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
