ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Tifa Lockhart is a strong and independent member of the AVALANCHE group, the owner of the 7th Heaven bar, and one of the protagonists of the Final Fantasy video game series. She is empathic, fast, highly skilled in martial arts techniques, and has even been named the pinup girl of the "cyber generation”. The author of the beautiful Tifa Lockhart model mentioned that while working on the 3D printing project he drew inspiration from the Final Fantasy VII Remake version of the hero’s appearance in particular. The whole process took the 3D artist approximately 165 hours and resulted in a true-to-life character for 3D printing that boasts an exceptional level of detail. Tifa Lockhart 3D print model poses in half-turn while her long hair sways in the air tied at the tips. The lady is depicted wearing a tank top and a short skirt that seems to be divided into segments in order to facilitate the martial arts performance during heated battles. Tifa dons a belt and suspenders that were carefully studied by the author of the model strap by strap. The 3D artist also made sure to pay extra attention to Tifa’s intricate vambrace, to the guard on her left elbow, and even to the patterns engraved on the “metal” plates. As expected, the lady’s gloves are equipped with knuckles that make the trademark weapon of Tifa Lockhart. Last but not least, the design of Tifa’s boots is definitely worth drawing attention to. The 3D artist made certain that the shoelaces and the large straps on top of the boots are precise and detailed enough to be interesting to paint and decorate. The tough bartender and a loyal friend of Cloud Strife is often ranked high in the “top heroines” lists and we are sure the Tifa Lockhart model is going to end up at the top of our 3D printed hall of fame!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Tifa Lockhart 3D printing design is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 47 hours in total. Model's anatomy was thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the hero to be depicted harmoniously in the intended half-turn pose. The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the model's Eco version. For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result, Tifa’s gloved hands, left arm guard, boots, head, etc. are provided as separate assembly pieces. For the same purpose, Tifa’s long hair was cut off and divided into three separate parts, with the tied tip separated as well. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, the model was cut along the contour of Tifa’s outfit seams. All the assembly parts come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.

The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from the actual height of Tifa Lockhart which is 1670 mm. The 3D printing design's chosen scale is 1/8 and 1/4 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
