ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
Beloved daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, Wednesday, has always stood out for her wittiness, darkness, gothic style, and black humour. The hobby of the teenager tells a lot about her character, Wednesday loves carrying out experiments and tortures. Wednesday Addams performed by Jenna Ortega brought a new wave of popularity for the character. This time the girl with supernatural psychic powers is sent to Nevermore Academy, where she starts solving a local murder mystery.
Inspired by Tim Butron's "Wednesday" supernatural comedy horror, our contributive 3D artist created this atmospheric 3D print model. Following the scene of the first episode, Wednesday is depicted playing the cello. The giant web behind her was copied from the stained-glass window in the movie and we really like the seclusion it creates. It is amplified by the candles in candelabras and on the floor. This diorama can become a great gift for your children or friends, it can also perfectly complement your own collection!
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Wednesday 3D Printing Diorama is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 42 hours. The model's anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process to look harmonically in the intended pose.
The model's cutting was chosen by our team to ensure the cleanest 3D printed result possible and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the models are connected, the model was cut along the contour of Wednesday’s body. The teenager's head, hands, legs, instrument, etc. are provided as separate assembly parts.
All assembly parts of the FFF/FDM versions come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.
The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The model's scale was calculated from the height of Wednesday which is 1540 mm. The 3D printing design's chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
