Where has the first month of the summer gone? It was only yesterday that we were celebrating the beginning of the warmest season of the year by releasing May’s 3D printed figurines’ roundup.
But don’t be sad. There are two more summer months, enough time to relax under a palm tree and drink cocktails on the beach. If you haven’t done it yet, make sure you do it as soon as possible. If you’ve already had your dose of Vitamin D, then sit comfortably. We are about to look back on June’s best 3D printing miniatures.
You know, some people just don’t care about the sea and the beach. They’d rather spend their summer holiday 3D printing cool movie or video game figurines.
As most of you probably know, every month we are showcasing the best 3D printed figurines that our friends and customers share in our Facebook Group. If you are in the 3D printing yourself, we encourage you to join the discussion and to show your own works, as a reward is in place for everyone.
Old Kratos + Atreus Diorama
The 3D printing character and diorama of Old Kratos and his son, Atreus, has been praised for many months in a row. Other people who have completed the project have been very kind to show the results and even to answer questions related to the printing and painting process.
Of course, there are times when you face challenges, such as running out of filament halfway through the printing project. Nevertheless, you always find a way out.
Have a look at this month’s Old Kratos 3D printing figurine.

Deadpool
“Captain Deadpool! No, just Deadpool.”
Wade had a difficult childhood and a troubled teen period. Nevertheless, every time this comic book character appears on the screen, he has a sick sense of humour to make fun of his enemies.
The Deadpool 3D printing figurine is printed on Anycubic i3 Mega, slicer S3d and filament 3djake Eco PLA black. The painting recreates the well-known Deadpool slim suit.

Lara Croft
Lara Croft has faced death so many times. Nevertheless, she always comes out of every challenge a survivor and a true warrior.
Lara is a tireless seeker of adventures. Her life has been a riddle from the beginning and her life is the mission to solve the riddle.
As the most recognized female character in the movie and video game universes, Lara Croft image appears on countless marketing materials. And finally, there’s the 3D printing version of this female fighter.
Maker: Denis Gomez
Grommash Hellscream
Grommash Hellscream is a warrior and a gladiator. He is known for his horrific shriek during battles, thus his second name. His best quality is the devotion to his race and his traditions.
You will see his might and power in his 3D printing figurine replica. The figurine is positioned on a support base.
Maker: Steven James Calcky
Jurassic Park
This park was supposed to be the best Adventureland. Bringing to life dinosaurs species that have disappeared a long time ago, the park hosted different types of dinosaurs. However, something went wrong and the adventure turned into a nightmare for all the visitors of the park.
The diorama captures the scene from the movie in which the dinosaur crashes a service car of the park.

Vulcan Tank
To make it on bard of this beast, you need to be trained into manoeuvring through fire and various terrain. Vulcan tank is a main battle tank heavy armoured and equipped to make it out any fight. Vulcan miniature may be small in sizes but when involved in tabletop games, there’s no other war vehicle that can compete with it.

Aquaman
Scroll through Gambody marketplace. We have a bunch of superheroes. One of them is Aquaman, the ruler of the sea. This 3D printing figurine is recreated in resin. Perfect for table games or maybe a superhero diorama, on the land and under the sea?
Maker: Nicolas Dafnis
Teenage Groot
Groot has grown up and is in his teens. Like any teenager, he is an adventurous young fellow, finding troubles even there where there aren’t any.
If you want to see the difference, try to 3D print Groot in all his stages of life: from baby to adult. We promise you will not be disappointed.
In the meantime, have a look at the teenage Groot miniature, 3D printed in resin and redline filament.

Wonder Woman
We’ve seen several Wonder Women already but this one is really wonderful. The maker decided to make it all in bronze, leaving the colourful painting aside. We believe it’s a good turn and the Wonder Woman figurine looks like a statuette waiting to be awarded for special feminist achievements 😉

Pikachu
Are you still catching Pokemons? If yes, we have one trapped in a fight with a fiery dragon. It is Pikachu, to be more specific.
The yellow Pokemon has got into serious trouble while trying to escape from others who pursued him. Better he fell into some human’s trap.

M. Bison
Unfortunately, villains are everywhere. Even in video games. One of them is M. Bison, whose mission is to get hold of the entire world.
M. Bison 3D printing figurine shows very accurately his bad side. One glance at his evil smile, and the blood in the veins freezes.
Maker: Roman Wolf
Megatron
Megatron is the arch-nemesis of Optimus Prime, the leader of Autobots. His ability consists of transforming into three different types of guns: a Walther P38 handgun, a particle beam cannon, and a telescopic laser cannon.
Megatron figurine will stand about 25 cm tall. You can even avoid printing the support base and the figurine will stand without falling over.
Maker: Wayne Auditore
Jason Voorhees
Until this month, we have only seen Jason bust being replicated countless times. Finally, the time for the Jason Voorhees figurine to shine has come.
Yet another villain, of course, from the renowned movie Friday the 13th. Even though it is not Friday already, and definitely not the 13th, this 3D printed figurine deserves special attention.

Asterix & Obelix Diorama
We’ve followed the progress for the Asteric + Obelix Diorama since April. We’ve seen every element being 3D printed and processed. It is time to admire the result.

Star Wars X-Wing
Are you ready to take off in the X-Wing starfighter? Even though just a 3D printed miniature, X-Wing has all the features of the Star Wars prototype.
Not everybody is up to take the challenge and recreate the 3D model, considering that is is almost 50 cm wide. But imagine the grandeur of the finished model and the envy in your friends’ eyes.
If you decide to have X-Wing 3D printed, be advised that there are 2 versions of the starfighter in low and high resolution.
Until then, however, check these incredible pictures shared by Lewian.
Maker: Lewian Hawk
Chewbacca
You will recognize this character by the noises it produces. Once you become his friend, you can easily understand Chewbacca language. Or, do we need to become Star Wars characters in order to understand the things he is saying?
But don’t worry. This Chewbacca doesn’t speak. It just stands magnificently on the self.
Maker: Sebastien Petit
Han Solo
We have shown you Chewbacca and we cannot perceive Chewbacca without Han Solo. So here is Han Solo miniature. Although miniature one can hardly call it. At 25 cm tall, this is not a miniature for tabletop games, but a serious replica of a famous Star Wars character.
Maker: Sascha Wesler
Atlas MechWarrior
How long has been since we had the chance to see a 3D printed MechWarrior? We know, it’s been awhile. As one of the most popular Mechs in its class, Atlas is always a good idea to replicate. We’ve seen so many of them, but not 2 were identical. This is the magic called 3D printing. You can always customize your 3D printing MechWarrior to have a unique bipedal vehicle in your collection.
Well, since there are only a few 3D printing MechWarriors released in a quarter, it seems that the rise of robots is postponed.
Maker: Stuart Bayliss
Demon Bust
The 3D printing demon bust might seem creepy but remember that it’s only a replica for a fictional character. Inspired by vampire stories, the Demon miniature bust was born under the 3D modelling skills of an artist who has seen too many vampire-inspired and thriller movies.
Give this guy’s bust a try.
Maker: Jim Allen
Thanos Bust
Busts look well in bronze colour. 3D printed Thanos bust is no exception. This has been previously proved by other 3D printing enthusiasts and it seems that this is becoming a trend taken by others enthusiastically.
Maker: Ruan Ayres
CONCLUSION
When summarizing the 3D printing figurines you shared in June, it seems that the month was dominated by villains. We hope, next month, it will be a more cheerful roundup.
