ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

The menacing extraterrestrial species Xenomorph is one of the deadliest of all known aliens and is said to be the perfect killing machine. The hostile antagonist was first seen in 1979 in the sci-fi horror classic Alien and since that time has the fame of one of the most hazardous and terrific monsters in the history of cinematography. After the debut in Alien, Xenomorphs reappeared in several sequels and prequels and the subsequent video games.

The author of the figurine could not leave without attention this impressive Alien character and developed stunning work depicting the  Xenomorph in attack. The posture of the figurine reveals its bloodlust and hostility: the arms of the Xenomorph are outstretched revealing the razor claws serving as a weapon to eliminate their prey, and the sharp teeth and razor tail pose the same danger. Looking at the mouth of Alien you can almost hear a scream breaking from its throat. The massive double-jointed legs of the Alien, its large elongated head, dorsal thick spikes, and the ridged body - each detail shows the attentiveness of the author to the work, and their intention to maintain the proportions and reflect the textures as closely as possible. 3D printing the Alien Xenomorph Attack will help one to see how modern technologies and the genius of the author allow us to bring to life the most esteemed and iconic characters!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Alien Xenomorph Attack for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 65 hours in total. The figurines' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the creature to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The figurine’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the figurine are connected, the figurine was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Alien Xenomorph Attack.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The figurine’s scale was calculated from the height of the creature which is 2200 mm. The 3D printing figurine’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
