HISTORY OF CYBORG

Victor Stone is the son of prominent S.T.A.R. Labs scientists Silas and Elinore Stone. They were so passionate about their researches that even performed an experiment to increase their son’s intelligence. When Victor grew up he condemned the tests conducted on him. Although he had quite a high IQ Victor was still more interested in sports than science. But his life took a dramatic turn when he once visited his parents at the S.T.A.R. laboratory. Silas and Elinore carried out a transdimensional experiment that resulted in a protoplasmic creature entering the laboratory. This creature killed Elinore and severely wounded Victor. Silas Stone managed to send the creature back into its dimension, and in order to save at least the life of his son, the scientist used experimental technology that turned Victor into Cyborg.

ABOUT THIS 3D MINIATURE

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

FFF/FDM version features:
- Consists of 6 parts;
- Has a platform;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest amount of supports.

DLP/SLA/SLS version features:
- Same as FDM but made as 1 part for economy your material;

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CuraSimplify3D or Slic3r softwares.

There are 6 parts for FFF/FDM version and 1 part for DLP/SLA/SLS version.

Below you can find printing recommendations for CuraSimplify3D and Slic3r software.

Cura printing recommendations:

These are basic settings that were tested in Cura 4.8.0 slicer.

The test models were printed on Ultimaker 2, Creality Ender 3, Creality CR-10S Pro V2, Anycubic I3 Mega, Anycubic I3 MegaS 3D printers with PLA and PETG filaments.

Disclaimer: The following printing settings are a recommendation, not an obligation. The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use and especially the particular assembly part at hand. Each part that any model comprises often needs preliminary review and you are free to tweak the settings the way you find suitable.

Note:
- You can scale up the model (downscaling is not recommended!);
- All connectors should be printed at 100% Infill;
- For all parts of locks (“ge_lock” in “Source files”) you need to change "Brim" type to "Skirt" in Build Plate Adhesion section.
