3D model history
One mention of this deadly Sith Lord is enough to hear the sound of his double-bladed lightsaber igniting and whipping through the air! Once the apprentice of the evil Darth Sidious, the Force-sensitive Dathomirian Zabrak trained to become a ferocious warrior and skilled combatant. Despite being fatal, his iconic duel on Naboo withQui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi demonstrated Maul’s blinding speed and incredible agility.
Today marks the release that we’ve all been waiting for - Darth Maul 3D print model finally joins Gambody’s Star Wars category. The STL files of the Dark Lord of the Sith come adapted for printing in two versions - you can have the model printed with tattoos on his face and without. Both the dynamic pose and the model's glance transmit the character's nature. Leave all the doubts behind - there’s hardly a 3D printing collection that can be claimed sufficient without Darth Maul in it!

The model's anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the Sith Lord to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose;
To conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, the model was cut along the contour of Darth Maul clothes’ seams;
Character’s head, gloves, boots, cloth fragments, double-bladed lightsaber, etc. are provided as separate assembly parts;
Two variants of the head - with and without facial tattoo.

Provided as error-free STL files compatible with most 3D printers;
Optimized part division minimizes support material and ensures smooth surface detail;
The assembly parts in the FFF/FDM version come in the recommended print orientations for easy bed placement;
Assembly manual in PDF and video formats is included for both FFF/FDM and DLP/SLA versions;
The model is available in recommended scales of 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions, based on approximate height of actor Ray Park (1750 mm).

The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use, and especially the particular assembly part you are working with.
