HISTORY OF THE BLACK MANTA

Black Manta was a mercenary and treasure hunter who worked with his father. He was hired by Stephen Shin to get the blood of Arthur Curry who wanted to prove to everyone that he was actually from Atlantis. Arthur defended his father and in the next battle, Kerry's father died of a heart attack. Furious Arthur tracked him down at night and penetrated his boat. He killed Manta's father believing that this was Manta himself. Thus, Black Manta left the career of a treasure hunter to find and take revenge on Aquamen. The Black Manth's combat suit is adapted to the oceanic environment. He gives him full protection from cold and high pressure at great depths and also gives him the ability to breathe underwater. A jet pack that functions both in water and on land. A telepathic scrambler that allows him to temporarily deprive Aquamen of his telepathy and a wide range of weapons. Black Manta is very intelligent, he has experience in mechanical engineering and was able to create his own suit, weapons and vehicles. Black Manta is an excellent hand-to-hand fighter. David is a confident and cunning leader, he usually relies more on technology and strategic planning than on physical strength. He also has an army of soldiers who help him in evil deeds.
