ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
Dean Winchester loves classic rock music, westerns, tasty food and his “Baby” 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS. Mischievous, skilled, and loyal, Dean travels the country together with his brother Sam, saving people, hunting things, the family business.
The Dean Winchester 3D print model by our contributing 3D artist will definitely rejoice all fans of the Supernatural TV series. The author of the model depicted the charismatic demon hunter in his casual attire. The 3D printing Dean wears his leather jacket (the one he inherited from his father), plaid shirt over a T-shirt, jeans and a pair of logger boots. The author of the model made sure to depict the bullhead amulet around Dean’s neck and armed the favourite character with a highly-detailed Demon-Killing Knife that has intricate symbols engraved along the blade.
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Dean Winchester 3D printing design is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 32 hours. The model's anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the monster hunter to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.
The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, the model was cut along the contour of Dean’s clothes seams.
All assembly parts come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF format.
The 3D print model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The model's scale was calculated from Dean Winchester's actual height which is 1830 mm. The 3D printing design's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
