ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
The Enterprise NX-01 Refit represents the pinnacle of early Star Trek innovation. After its courageous service in the Xindi conflict and the Romulan War, this NX-class starship returned to Spacedock in 2155 for a comprehensive overhaul. The refit added an underslung secondary hull—housing a larger navigational deflector dish and photonic torpedo launchers—bringing its silhouette in line with the classic Star Trek starship profiles. Updated impulse nacelles and an enhanced warp coil array boosted its performance, while subtle hull modifications signaled the dawn of humanity's deeper ventures into the galaxy. The Star Trek Enterprise NX-01 Refit stands as a testament to Starfleet's evolving technological prowess on its way to Federation status.
Prepare to command this legendary spacecraft in your own collection with the premium NX-01 Refit 3D model! Our contributing artist has faithfully recreated every contour—from the sleek lines of the saucer to the detailed struts of the secondary hull—in a versatile Star Trek ship 3D print model. Choose between three hull options—lettered "Enterprise NX-01", "Columbia NX-02" or a clean version—and utilize the integrated LED tunnels to illuminate your 3D printed spaceship with a vibrant glow. Perfect for aficionados of Star Trek 3D models and sci-fi enthusiasts, this NX-01 Refit model brings the future of early space exploration to your desktop.
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Enterprise NX-01 Refit 3D printing design is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 101 hours in total.
For you to receive the cleanest 3D printing result possible, minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support, and make use of the active elements designed by Gambody Engineers, the starship was divided into convenient assembly parts.
All assembly parts in the 1.0 FFF/FDM version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won’t face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model’s file you will also receive “Assembly Manual” for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF and video formats. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the "Assembly Video" and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to the Enterprise NX-01 Refit.
The 3D print model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The model's scale was calculated from the length of the starship. The 3D printing design's chosen scales are 1:350 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:700 for the DLP/SLA version.
