ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Guts, the protagonist of one of the most popular manga series of all time, Berserk, is an anti-hero with a complicated life path and brutal personality. The Black Swordsman, who survived the events of Eclipse where the mercenary lost his left forearm and right eye, is led by the desire for revenge on his mentor, Griffith, and Guts is eager to complete this mission at any cost.

Guts 3D print from Gambody contributing 3D artist is a unique and skilled design for 3D printing and the passion of the author for the world-popular TV series can be seen in every detail of the model. Guts sword 3D print in the center of the scene is the first thing that attracts your attention: Dragon Slayer, the signature weapon of Guts is designed with great precision to the extent you can see every mark on its blade which, by the way, impresses with its significant scale. Berserker armor is a part of the look of Guts that is especially pleasant to contemplate: the body armor suit and a cloak are intricately sculpted and adorned with such accessories as throwing knives, belt bags, and cascade pauldrons, among others. The author managed to sculpt the facial features of the Guts 3D model in such a way that they repeat the appearance of the protagonist as closely as possible creating a familiar hairstyle, notable eye scar, and striking cheekbones. This Berserk STL is undoubtedly a collectible that is worth your time and attention: 3D print it and witness the incarnation of pure art today!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Guts for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 68 hours in total. The 3D print's anatomy, proportions, and flow of the cloth were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the mercenary to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The cutting of the 3D printing design was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the 3D printable model are connected, the Black Swordsman was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the 1.0 FFF/FDM version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Guts.

The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The scale of the 3D print model was calculated from the height of Guts. The 3D printer design’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
