ABOUT THIS 3D FIGURINE

Harley Quinn went from an exemplary psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum to Joker's sidekick and finally to a cool antihero in her own right! Over the years, the fashion icon of DC Comics has changed her appearance, affiliation and equipment, but has never ceased to fascinate the loyal comic book fans.

The author of the playful Harley Quinn figurine mentioned that the inspiration for this 3D printing project was Harley's signature look from Batman: The Animated Series where she popped up for the first time. The Clown Princess of Crime sports an extremely form-fitting jester jumpsuit, complete with a pair of gloves, large collar and harlequin cowl with a mask that perfectly conceals Quinzel’s identity. The clown-themed antihero for 3D printing wields an oversized wooden mallet and flashes her most infectious smile. The Maiden of Mischief must have wormed out that it is about to join your villainous display shelf!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Harley Quinn figurine for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 27 hours. The figurine’s anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for The Maiden of Mischief to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco and Pre-supported versions. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, the figurine was cut along the contour of the harlequin outfit seams

For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result, the collar, cowl horns, boots, both hands, mallet, etc. are provided as separate assembly parts, while the split mallet handle is extracted from the harlequin’s hold.

All assembly parts of the FFF/FDM version come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from the height of Harley Quinn which is 1700 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
