ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Iron Man played by R. Downey Jr. is one of the most loved Marvel characters and has incredible popularity around the world. Tony Stark, the genius endowed with skills for technology and inventions who inherited the weapon manufacturing business of his father, was kidnapped by an Afghan criminal organization and created his famous armor suit to escape captivity. Upon returning home the founding member of Avengers started using several more armors to fight against terrorists and publicly revealed himself as Iron Man.

Iron Man & Suit-Up Gantry diorama for 3D printing is a result of the diligent and focused work of our contributing 3D artist. The creator chose for his diorama the famous scene of Tony Stark with a gantry, the machine designed by Tony Stark to help him put and remove his first armors such as the Mark IV. This particular suit consists of the outer armor, arc reactor, electronic exoskeleton, jet thrusters, and repulsor ray in each palm. The Suit-Up Gantry features several mechanical arms with manipulators with articulated joints. Build this iconic diorama for 3D printing using STL files of the highest quality and enjoy every minute of the process!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Iron Man & Suit-Up Gantry diorama for 3D printing is an active assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 68 hours in total. The figurines' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the superhero to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The figurine’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the figurine are connected, Iron Man was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Iron Man & Suit-Up Gantry diorama.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The figurine’s scale was calculated from the height of Iron Man which is 1850 mm. The 3D printing figurine’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
