ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
Dragon Ball Z tells the adventures of the Saiyan warrior Son Goku in his adult life, in particular, depicting the protagonist and his companions defending the Earth from hostile aliens, evil androids, and furious magical creatures. Genetically created with the DNA of the Z-Warriors Cell, with numerous genetic traits and special abilities, and ruthless and ultra-powerful tyrant Frieza are among the main antagonists in the Dragon Ball Z series. The fight between Goku and Frieza, and Gohan, the first son of Goku and Cell is a fight of eternal rivals, daring and ready to fight to the last.
The diorama Like Father, Like Son of our contributing 3D artist is a result of their big passion for the iconic series and huge dedication to their work. The chosen scene can’t but impress: the opponents look furious and wild, Goku’s and Gohan’s faces are tense, and the fighting postures express the enormous energy of the heroes. Top-attacking Cell and Frieza are as much involved in the fight as possible, their appearance is vicious and terrifying. Like Father, Like Son diorama is a perfect example of an artistic and original approach to the design and we are sure that all DBZ fans will appreciate it!
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Like Father, Like Son Diorama for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 59 hours in total.
For you to receive the cleanest 3D printing result possible, minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support, the models were divided into convenient assembly parts.
All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won’t face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any file of the diorama you will also receive “Assembly Manuals” for FFF/FDM 1.0, DLP/SLA 1.0 and SLS 1.0 versions in PDF and video formats. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and “Assembly Manual” before getting down to the Like Father, Like Son Diorama.
The diorama is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The scale of the diorama was calculated from the height of Gohan and Goku. The chosen scales for 3D printing diorama are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA version.
