ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Fallout 4 is considered one of the most popular RPG games and it is not surprising since the game gives the players the possibility to explore, combat, craft, use power armor, and have alive and fleshed-out companions in the atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic environment. Codsworth is a Mr. Handy robot owned by the game protagonist, Sole Survivor, and their family before the Great War. The robotic butler is the last resident of Sanctuary Hills who survived the thermonuclear bomb above ground. Codsworth is a true gentleman, caring, empathetic, alert, and responsible and this makes him the best follower.

Being fascinated by the hard-working and sociable game character our creative 3D artist designed this stunning model for 3D printing distinguished by a high level of detail and functionality. Codsworth is a fully active model with movable joints in the eyes and manipulator arms. The huge lively eyes of the robot have alternative diaphragms giving the possibility to reflect its emotions. Codsworth, fixed on a Vault-Tec stylized platform, can take a variety of poses leaving you a space for creativity! These and other impressive features of the robot make him very special and authentic. Find a friend in the face of Codsworth and the most reliable support is guaranteed to you!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

The Codsworth model for 3D printing is an active assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 96 hours in total.

For you to receive the cleanest 3D printing result possible, minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support, and make use of the active elements designed by Gambody Engineers, the robot was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won’t face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model’s file you will also receive “Assembly Manual” for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 (Active & Static) versions in PDF and video formats. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and “Assembly Manual” before getting down to the Codsworth 3D printing model.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model’s scale was calculated from the height of Codsworth. The 3D printing model’s chosen scales are 1:4 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:8 for the DLP/SLA version.
