ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Rivet from Ratchet & Clank action-adventure video game is known for her bravery, light-heartedness, and a good sense of humor. The female lombax from another dimension becomes friends with Clank, helps him to find Ratchet and build the Dimensionator to stop the evil Emperor Nefarious. Rivet has an unbroken spirit, continuing to resist Nefarious despite always losing. Rivet is always ready to cheer up and protect others, even sacrificing her safety.

Inspired by this brave character of one of the most exciting and dynamic games of the last year, our contributing 3D artist created this impressive figurine for 3D printing. The appearance of the character is extremely close to the depiction of Rivet in the game. The body of the Rivet as the bodies of the rest of the feline-like species called lombax is covered in fur. She wears a pair of goggles with thick lenses on her head and hoop earrings in each ear. The small pink nose, big eyes, and chubby cheeks give the character a child-like appearance. The printing of this amazing bust will make you the most pleasant and great experience!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Rivet Bust for 3D printing is a static assembly figurine and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 34 hours in total. The impressively detailed figurine in its assembly version was divided into as many assembly parts as needed to fit even the smallest 3D printers' build plates and for you to receive a huge 3D printed piece after assembly.

The cutting of Rivet Bust was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any figurine's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Rivet Bust.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The figurine’s scale was calculated from the height of Rivet that is 1500 mm. The 3D printing figurine’s chosen scales are 1:3 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:6 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
