ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

The Guardians of the Galaxy holds third place in the list of the most popular Marvel movies. The success of the movie came from several factors, with charisma and a good sense of humour of the main characters as one of the most pivotal. The Rocket Racoon and Groot are fellow partners, who are always fun to watch. Hilarious and sharp-tongued, Rocket Racoon hates everyone in the universe but remains loyal to his friends. Rocket Racoon, armed with the Laser Cannon, together with powerful and flexible Groot will easily fight the Kyln prison guard and get with the team to Milano spaceship.

Inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy epic space adventure, our contributing 3D artist created the bust of his Rocket and Groot 3D printing diorama. The scene of the movie was chosen perfectly, the characters look absolutely realistic! Ferocious and raging heroes in the middle of the battle in an instant take us back to the events of the movie. With the masterful design, simple assembly, and the highly-detailed nature of printing files, this diorama has it all to become the next exciting project in your collection!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Rocket & Groot Bust diorama is a static assembly model, its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 18 hours. The models' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the bust to look proportionate and harmonious as a self-sufficient piece.

The model's cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model are connected, the models were cut along the anatomical outline of Rocket and Groot’s bodies. For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result, the characters' headsarms, handstorsos, etc. are provided as separate assembly parts.

All assembly parts of the 1.0 FFF/FDM version come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.

The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The design's chosen scales are 1:3 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:6 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
