ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Sauron, the sinister architect behind the One Ring, embodies the essence of darkness and corruption in The Lord of the Rings. Once a servant of Morgoth, Sauron became the ultimate force of evil in Middle-earth, using cunning and deceit to forge alliences and conquer free peoples. His influence lingered through the ages, shaping the fate of elves, men, and dwarves alike. As the Dark Lord, Sauron symbolizes the ultimate temptation and the destructive pursuit of power—a story that resonates deeply with fans of Tolkien's world.

Now, you can bring this legendary villain to life with the Sauron Bust STL files. The model depicts Sauron in a commanding pose, his right hand raised with the One Ring prominently displayed on his finger. The armor's intricate detailing, sharp spikes, and menacing aura have been painstakingly recreated by the contributing artist, making this bust an outstanding 3D print. Whether you're a fan of Sauron in The Lord of the Rings or simply admire exceptional craftsmanship, this 3D printing design is a must-have!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Sauron Bust for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 52 hours in total. The 3D print's anatomy, and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the Dark Lord to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The cutting of the 3D printing design was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the 3D printable model are connected, Sauron Bust was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 versions are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Sauron Bust.

The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The scale of the 3D print model was calculated from the height of Sauron. The 3D printer design’s chosen scales are 1:3 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:6 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
