Printing Details

This 3D Miniature consists of files in StereoLithography (.Stl) format that have been optimized for 3D printing.

Before printing the files, we strongly recommend reading the PRINTING DETAILS section.

Version 1 and Version 2 are the files for Spider-Man 3D Miniature optimized for 3D printing, the preview pictures of which you see above.

It is recommended:

  • to print Version 1 STL files on FDM/FFF 3D printers;
  • to print Version 2 STL files on DLP/SLA/SLS 3D printers.

HISTORY OF SPIDER-MAN

Peter Benjamin Parker is a superhero known as Spider-Man. Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider in high school and as a result, he developed spider-like abilities. Soon he was free to creep along the walls and feel the danger and eventually created a device that shoots cobwebs. After the death of Uncle Ben, Peter realized that "with great strength, comes a great responsibility" so he became Spider-Man. The history of the spider man contains many personalities in which he changed costumes and sometimes even his abilities and personality. 
There are 3 versions of his costume is presented for you.
- First from the Infinity War.
- Second with his metallic tentacles.
- The third is more classic from the Amazing Spiderman series.

ABOUT THIS 3D MINIATURE

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

FDM version features:
- Contain 17 parts;
- Made with removable parts of tentacles;
- Made with platform that stylized as an explosion and a collapsing building;
- Provided second version of classic Amazing Spiderman costume;
- All parts are divided in such way that you will print them with the smallest amount of supports.

DLP/SLS/SLA version features:
- Made as solid figure in 3 variants with different costumes;

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 3.2.1 and Simpily3D. Software.

There are 17 parts for FFF/FDM version and 3 part for DLP/SLS/SLA version.

Scale: Model made as 1/8 scale in FDM version and 1/16 in SLS/SLA version.

FDM version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 300 mm tall, 204 mm wide, 192 mm deep;

SLS/SLA version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 150 mm tall, 102 mm wide, 96 mm deep;
- Has only 1 detail in each variant, to keep printing costs down.
