ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

A relatively new Marvel Comics character, Spider-Punk represents an adolescent punk-rock-inspired Spider-Man who was transformed by a spider irradiated as part of President Osborn's toxic waste dumping. As a weapon, Hobart Brown uses his spiked mask, head-butting opponents, and his guitar, unleashing powerful sound waves, capable of incapacitating enemies and disrupting their weaponry. It is the guitar that helped Spider-Punk eliminate Norman Osborn and become the savior of the NY oppressed people. In contrast to hatred for Green Goblin, an independent and anarchic Spider-Punk deeply admired Gwen Stacy for her significant musical contributions and considered Spider-Woman as "the greatest artist" of their time.

The Earth-138 version of Spider-Man inspired our dedicated 3D artist to create this authentic figurine for 3D printing. The chosen scene looks like a live performance of the punk-rock star, as emotional and impressive. Spider-Punk is depicted in the jump pushing the feet against the musical column and holding a guitar. The style of the superhero fully represents his belonging to the punk subculture: the costume of the hero consists of a battle jacket with patches and badges, high sneakers, a face mask decorated with spikes, the accessories include studded bracelets and a belt, the guitar of Spider-Punk features famous web pattern. The expressiveness of the hero is another feature that makes the figurine look so original, each detail of the scene is made with great mastery and can't but impress! If you are dreaming of an exclusive outstanding project, Spider-Punk for 3D printing is what you need!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Spider-Punk for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 62 hours in total. The figurines' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the superhero to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The figurine’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the figurine are connected, Spider-Punk was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Spider-Punk.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The figurine’s scale was calculated from the height of Spider-Punk which is 1800 mm. The 3D printing figurine’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
