ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
Sam and Dean Winchester, the protagonists of an American dark fantasy TV series "Supernatural", are two brothers who dedicate their lives to a constant struggle against evil supernatural creatures. The murder of the mother of hunters, Mary Winchester, committed by the demon Azazel became the impetus for the decision of the brothers to find and punish the culprit. In search of their father, who reveals the mystery of the death of his wife, Sam and Dean fight against demons, ghosts, monsters, and other abnormal beings, without losing the spirit and leaving room for humor. Chevrolet Impala 1967, Dean Winchester’s “Baby”, is another trademark of the show and aids the Winchesters in their hunting activities.
Inspired by the beloved by spectators adventure television series, our contributing 3D artists created this great 3D printing diorama. The appearance of both protagonists is made with great mastery—the recognizable hairstyles of the brothers, their physique and their facial shape, even the stubble on their faces, the author has thought through the design of the models down to the finest detail. The chosen positions of Sam and Dean speak of the decisiveness and fearlessness of hunters. Equipped with a scoped rifle and Colt and enlisting the support of each other, this couple is ready to confront the most evil enemies of all time! But who said that they don’t need an ally?
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Sam and Dean in diorama is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 30 hours in total. The models' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the TV series characters to be depicted harmoniously in the intended poses.
The cutting of the models was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the models are connected, Sam and Dean were divided into convenient assembly parts.
All assembly parts in the 1.0 FFF/FDM version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details' surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Supernatural Sam and Dean diorama.
The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The design's chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
