This 3D model of Merkava MK 4 consists of files in StereoLithography (.Stl) format that is optimized for 3D printing.

ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

The authentic model of Merkava Mk 4 Tank, developed to be fast, keen to ride off-road, and to be repaired easily as fast as it is possible, for the first time was used by Israel's armed forces in the 1982 Lebanon War. The decision to resume the manufacturing of these tanks was made in 2013. Advanced machines of this line have modular armor design, which helps to replace only damaged parts. Merkava Mark IV is one of the most recent models of its row and is considered the most protected one.

Inspired by the outstanding characteristics of the Merkava tank, our contributing 3D artist created the model of Merkava Mk 4 adapted for 3D printing drawing inspiration from the tank prototype. The 2.0 version of Merkava Mk 4 features Trophy APS and the Droid ATMD set, there are numerous movable parts and elaborate details. Merkava Mk 4 is the best choice for all military models fans!

The scale of this 3d model is calculated from Merkava's actual length including the barrel gun (9.04m) and is 1:35 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:48 for the DLP/SLA version.

VERSIONS' SPECIFICATIONS

FFF/FDM 2.0 version features:

  • Contains 127 parts;
  • A printed model is 106 mm tall, 164 mm wide, 295 mm deep;
  • 3 variants of turret - with a hatch and without a drone, with an opening hatch, with antennas and drone;
  • 3 variants of caterpillars - solid, cut in two, and round to print with flexible PLA;
  • 2 variants of suspension - one-piece and comprised of separate parts;
  • Movable barrel;
  • Opening hatch and front door;
  • The roof hatch opens, the machine gun rotates;
  • The rear door opens;
  • Movable wheels and suspension;
  • Detailed interior;
  • The turret rotates;
  • All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA 2.0 version features:

  • Contains 20 parts;
  • A printed model is 79 mm tall, 115 mm wide, 211 mm deep;
  • Detailed interior;
  • The turret rotates;
  • Movable wheels;
  • Two variants of turret;
  • All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.

FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:

  • The tank’s cannon rotates 360 degrees.
  • Its doors, its hatch open and close, road wheels and caterpillars move.
  • The model has an active suspension that fulfils irregularities.  
  • After being 3D printed, the 3D model will stand 97 mm wide, 84 mm tall and 240 mm deep
  • This is the 3D model that requires assembling.
  • It is split into 120 pieces, including 2 spare caterpillars and 2 pieces of armor.
