HISTORY OF THOR

Thor is the current king of Asgard and one of the first members of the Avengers team. Once he neglected his responsibilities before his people and almost started a war out of pride and arrogance, for which he was exiled to Earth. There he found his love, Jane Foster, and understood the true meaning of courage and heroism. He saved Earth from the destruction that his brother Loki brought. Later, during the battle with Hydra, Scarlet Witch captured his mind and filled it with visions in which he saw the Infinity Gems. These visions also revealed to him that his brother Loki seized the throne of Asgard in his absence. The rightful king, Odin, died despite Thor’s attempts to save him and bring him back to Asgard. Odin’s death freed his firstborn, the deathly Hela, who emerged from the kingdom of the dead, seeking revenge and craving power. Using her impressive powers, Hela destroyed Mjolnir and sent Thor to Sakaar. He managed to get out of that world and defeat his murderous sister, even though Asgard was destroyed in the process. But having the mindset of a wise ruler by that time, he realized that Asgard was not a place, it was a people, and so he set out on a journey to Earth with his people. As they were going to Earth, their ship was attacked by Thanos. Thanos was looking for the Tesseract, and found it with Loki, who had snatched it from Asgard at the last moment. The ship and the people were destroyed, and Thor was picked up by the Guardians of the Galaxy. With the help of the teenager Groot and the Rocket Raccoon, he was able to get to Eitri the dwarf. There he forged for himself a new weapon that could defeat Thanos, but he did not have enough time to do this before Thanos wiped out a half of the universe’s population...

ABOUT THIS 3D FIGURINE

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

FDM version features:
- Contain 22 parts;
- Assembly kit includes locks. One part of  Lock (6_Ge_lock_10H_(x6)) needs to be printed 6 times;
- Made with 2 variants of head. With eye patch and without it;
- Made with 2 variants of platform solid and divided for small buildplates. Also this was made for cloak;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA version features:
- Same as FDM but smaller, also made as 7 parts;

SLS version features:
- Same as SLA but made as 4 part with 2 variants of body to save your material;

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 3.4.1Simplify3D or Slic3r Software.

There are 22 parts for FFF/FDM version, 7 parts for DLP/SLA version and 4 parts for SLS.

Scale: Thor actual height is 1920 mm. The model’s chosen scale is 1/8 for the FDM version and 1/16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS version.

FFF/FDM version dimensions:
A printed model is 364 mm tall, 309 mm wide, 362 mm deep;

SLA/DLP/SLS version dimensions:
A printed model is 182 mm tall, 155 mm wide, 181 mm deep;
- Has few details, to keep printing costs down.
