Printing Details

This 3D Miniature consists of files in StereoLithography (.Stl) format that have been optimized for 3D printing.

Before printing the files, we strongly recommend reading the PRINTING DETAILS section.

Version 1, Version 2 and Version 3 for Werewolf 3D Miniature optimized for 3D printing, the preview pictures of which you see above.

It is recommended:

  • to print Version 1 STL files on FDM/FFF 3D printers;
  • to print Version 2 STL files on DLP/SLA 3D printers.
  • to print Version 3 STL files on SLS 3D printers.

HISTORY OF WEREWOLF

A famous character who took part in many famous films. Such as Harry Potter, Van Helsing, Twilight, Underworld, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Werewolf: The Beast Among Us and other. Each author sees the image of a werewolf in its own way. Your attention is presented to the author's model of this monster. In the movies, these creatures are most often depicted as huge more than 2 meters in height by creatures resembling wolves. It can turn into a werewolf either from a spell casting or from the bite of another werewolf. In the second case, the curse of the full moon falls on the person. He will always change his appearance with the approach of night into the full moon. In this case, the person is not able to control his actions and can hurt even close people. Especially good about this is shown in the movie Van Helsing and Harry Potter.

ABOUT THIS 3D MINIATURE

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

FDM version features:
- Contain 5 parts;
- Made with Locks for better fixing. One part of Lock (5_Ge_lock_7S (x4)) you need to print 4 times.
- Made with platform;
- All parts are divided in such way that you will print them with the smallest amount of supports.

DLP/SLA version features:
- Same as FDM but made as 4 parts without Locks;

SLS version features:
- Same as FDM but made as 1 part for economy your material;

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 3.2.1. Software.

There are 5 parts for FFF/FDM version, 4 parts for SLA version and 1 part for SLS.

Scale: for the basic was taken the tall of Werewolf 2380mm. Model made as 1/12 for FDM version and 1/24 for SLS/SLA version.

Scale: For the basis of calculations, was taken, the size of wolf 1600 mm. Model made as 1/8 scale in FDM version and 1/16 in SLS/SLA version.

FDM version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 199 mm tall, 148 mm wide, 130 mm deep;

SLS/DLP/​SLA version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 99 mm tall, 74 mm wide, 65 mm deep;
- Has only one detail, to keep printing costs down.

Recommendations: For all parts of Locks you need to change "Brim" type to "Skirt" in Build Plate Adhesion section.
