Star Wars The Mandalorian Pirate Snub Fighter 3D Printing Model
This Pirate Snub-fighter (R-41A Starchaser) Sci-fi Vehicle printing model is designed to have a native scale of 1:18 scale, which means this thing is pretty big, The final model at native scale is just under 50 cm long, and will fit in with vehicles intended for use with 3.75 inch action figures. The classic Star Wars action figure scale. So this model should not look out of place beside an official The Vintage Collection vehicle collectible.
In addition to the scale, this model has many features to add additional display value to the asset. The model comes with a working articulated cockpit canopy to allow you to display the cockpit open or closed, and also removable landing gear that can be replaced with closed gear bay doors, which can be easily be swapped out again, making displaying the ship in landed or flight mode easy. The model does not come with a stand, but a hole has been provided in the belly for you to fit a metal rod in for flight display, couple that with a wood base, or something along those lines for a great display piece. The model also has a dorsal fin that can be swapped out for a topside cannon, as featured in the concept art of this vehicle from the show.
This spacecraft model design was inspired by the Pirate Starfighters that appeared in the Star Wars TV show The Mandalorian Season 3, and now in the latest hit show Skeleton Crew. I have created the most accurate representation of this vehicle possible given the limited reference available at the time, that being primarily screengrabs from the show, and the concept art featured in the show's end credits. As such, this model may not be entirely accurate to the screen used asset, and creative license has been used where reference for an area just isn't available. However it is still most likely the most accurate model of this vehicle currently around, especially with the extremely precise and screen accurate detailing of the interior. Painstaking efforts have been made to make this model as accurate as possible. But at the end of the day, this is my interpretation of this ship.

UPDATE:
This model has been updated with new parts to improve the final result of this model. I'll list the improved parts, and why the changes have been made below.
Canopy Glass Thick New - To replace Canopy Glass Thick. The previous part was still too thin, and suffered a little from shrinkage, meaning it didn't quite cover the space required of it. New part is thicker still, and has been broadened somewhat to leave it with a larger footprint on the canopy frame it sits in, which should also compensate for any possible part shrinkage.
Engine Block New - To replace Engine Block. This part's pegs were just too snug a fit for the holes they were supposed to go in, and required quite a bit of sanding to get them to fit correctly. This new version makes the pegs slimmer for a better and easier fit.
Front Gear Hatch New 01 & Front Gear Hatch New 02 - To replace Front Gear Hatch 01 & Front Gear Hatch 02, these parts just came out way thinner than expected. These parts are also supposed to be interchangeable parts, swapping out with the Landing Gear Front part, so it has to be fairly robust so it can be repeatedly handled. So the part has been made thicker, so it is no longer flush with the hull, but this is a good thing, as it will make it easer for an end user to get their fingers in there and remove the part, and also make the part stronger and more robust.
Life Support Module New & 02 New & 03 New - To replace Life Support Module & 02 & 03 & LSM Handle, LSM Handle 01 & 02, and LSM Handle Fat, LSM Handle Fat 01 & 02. In this case it works fine as is, but I thought doing these parts this way was just a bit more efficient and streamlined the build somewhat in this area.
Wing Port New & Wing Stbrd New - To replace Wing Port 01 & Wing Stbrd 01. With this part I just felt that the panel line details on the wing were just a little to faint, the detail is there and can be seen, but just barely. The new version of these wings just makes the panel line details more pronounced so they can be seen more clearly.
This details the changes made. So in total 9 replacement parts, most of them smaller details and parts, with the wings being the only really substantial sized parts to swap out, but I feel these changes are well worth adding, and will improve the end product of the model no end.
I hope you enjoy, and have lots of fun with it.
